Close to down town through the tunnel. Very modern and comfortable. We were impressed with the coziness of the room. Small but very functional. Breakfast was included, and we were not disappointed. Everything you would expect from a Euro breakfast and then some! Desk staff was fun and very helpful. There was parking on sight, but you will need to get there to claim your spot. Limited amount. Overall, very nice place.

This location is great! From the door to the historical park of Salzburg is a short walk though a safe walking tunnel or within 2 minutes you are at the stair to get on top of the Mönchsberg for spectacular views and you can walk all the way to the fortress. The main areas of the hotel is modern. Staff were very helpful and they gave us a free bus pass to use the whole time we were in Salzburg.

Hotel is in a great location to visit all the major sights on foot. Staff very helpful, room was clean although some items were a little tired and some stains on carpet. No shampoo supplied just generic shower gel, but a nice little kit with nail file and sewing kit was a nice touch.

Property is located centrally, good transport option to reach to tourist places and airport. Property was clean and moderate sized room for 2. They have storage/ locker rooms to keep our luggage which is very handy. They even provides umbrellas which was quite helpful during our trip.

The convenience of the location is so amazing! I came for the Salzburg Music Festival (Salzburger Festspiele), and the performance venue is 6-minutes walk from the Hotel Neutor or 2 minutes by bus - I even had time to run back to my room to grab something during intermission! Hotel Neutor also has the bus stop right at the front door with multiple buses going both ways, and a bus comes less than every 5-10 minutes, so it's so easy to get to main train station, old town, Schloss Mirabell, Fortress Hohensalzburg (15-min walk to the funicular), and many other places. // The breakfast at Hotel Neutor is the most luxurious - with champagne, smoked salmon, beautiful puffs, croissants, and other delicious treats with so many options. Everyday starts strong with their most excellent breakfast. // Storage of luggage is super easy too if you arrive early before normal check-in begins. Highly recommended!

Helpful and friendly staff who took the extra effort to take care of extra requests such as microwaving some food. The location is very good for exploring the old part of the city. The breakfast was good.

The hotel is extremely centrally located to the old town with only a five minute walk to the main attractions and restaurants. . It was quiet and within a three minute walk to a supermarket.

We arrived early in the morning but were allowed to leave our car in the parking lot so we could already explore the city before checking into our room later in the day. Room was clean and comfortable, tasty breakfast served in the morning. Walking distance from everything you want to see and do in Salzburg.

Location of this property is extremely good. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Our flight was delayed and staff helped in the late check-in the hotel. There are no Hot kettle in the room but one can get hot water from the coffee machine in the cafe.

The room's were decently sized. Each room was different, with different fixtures and layouts. The hotel was excellently positioned; a short walk led to the historic part of town with many restaurants and eateries nearby. Great for families who are happy to walk to the sights. They accommodated a cot for our 4 year old.
